Welcome to the Electronic Curriculum Management System (ECMS) on-line tutorial. The Curriculum Office strongly recommends viewing lessons in the tutorial to obtain a basic understanding of ECMS and its functionalities. You will also be able to re-familiarize yourself with the system and become more efficient when using it. One-on-one training is available should you require additional ECMS assistance after utilizing this on-line tutorial, please contact the Curriculum Office.


When you are done revising your course outline in ECMS, go to the Curriculum Committee website (http://dilbert.fhda.edu/curriculum/), click on the FORMS button, download and complete the necessary forms.


Tutorial Requirements:
Flash Player 9 or higher is required to view the tutorial. Please check your Flash Player and update to the latest version if you have difficulty viewing any of the videos. Due to the video size, the tutorials are best viewed on the De Anza network or from a computer with high-speed internet connection.


TO START (New ECMS Users):
  1. Expand the "Introduction to ECMS" button on the left hand side, and start with the first ECMS lesson.
  2. When done move on to the next lesson.
  3. View the ECMS tutorial lessons in the order displayed, starting from top to bottom.

TO START (All Other ECMS Users):
  1. Examine the different ECMS topics available on the left hand side.
  2. Select the ECMS lesson you need assistance with and view the video.
